Role overview
As our global community continues to grow, we are looking for a Retention Marketing Manager to lead our customer lifecycle strategy and strengthen long-term relationships with skiers around the world.
This role will be responsible for designing and executing the CRM and retention strategy, ensuring that every interaction with the brand — from first discovery to long-term loyalty — reflects the spirit of blackcrows.
Key responsibilities
CRM Strategy & Customer Lifecycle
Define and execute the global CRM strategy across the full customer lifecycle: acquisition, nurturing, retention, repeat purchase, and loyalty.
Design customer journeys that strengthen engagement with the brand and increase long-term customer value.
Segment and activate the customer base to deliver relevant and personalized experiences.
Ensure CRM initiatives support both commercial objectives and brand storytelling.
Campaign Planning & Execution
Plan and execute CRM campaigns across email and SMS.
Align CRM campaigns with the commercial calendar (product launches, seasonal moments, brand initiatives).
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Creative, and Digital teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand experience.
Ensure campaigns maintain the premium tone and aesthetic of the brand.
Automation & Lifecycle Programs
Build and optimize automated lifecycle programs, including:
welcome flows
abandoned cart
post-purchase engagement
product education
reactivation campaigns
Continuously optimize flows to improve engagement, repeat purchase, and lifetime value.
Identify new lifecycle opportunities to deepen relationships with customers and the brand community.
Data, Insights & Performance
Track and analyze CRM performance across key metrics including:
revenue contribution
retention rate
repeat purchase
email/SMS engagement
customer lifetime value
Use customer insights to inform segmentation, messaging, and campaign optimization.
Partner with Digital and Analytics teams to continuously improve data quality and reporting.
CRM Platform & Marketing Technology
Own the day-to-day management of the CRM platform and related tools.
Ensure CRM data is clean, structured, and effectively used across marketing initiatives.
Work closely with the Head of Digital and technical partners on integrations and data flows between Shopify, CRM, and analytics tools.
Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the customer data and marketing technology ecosystem.

Profile & qualifications
We are looking for someone who combines analytical rigor with strong brand sensitivity, and who enjoys building meaningful long-term relationships with customers.
Experience
2–3 years of experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, or retention marketing
Experience working with Klaviyo or similar CRM platforms
Background in DTC brands, ecommerce, or premium consumer products
Strong understanding of customer segmentation, automation flows, and lifecycle marketing
Skills
Strong analytical mindset and comfort working with data
Excellent understanding of customer behavior and engagement strategies
Ability to translate brand storytelling into compelling lifecycle communications
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple campaigns
Collaborative mindset and ability to work across marketing, product, and digital teams
“Excellence in execution” mindset, rigor and attention to details
Creativity and innovation: ability to think outside the box by proposing new ideas that help improve the customer’s experience while taking in account the company’s stakes.
