Role overview
The Social Media Specialist plays a central role in bringing blackcrows’ social presence to life every day. This position collaborates on and implements the social strategy and editorial calendar, produces original content, and manages day-to-day channel operations across platforms.
Based in Chamonix and closely connected to the brand’s mountain environment, the role requires mobility and confidence capturing content in outdoor settings. Through hands-on execution and thoughtful community engagement, the Social Media Specialist contributes to audience growth, engagement, and brand visibility while ensuring consistency in tone, quality, and cultural relevance.
This position requires 3-5 years of experience and a strong execution mindset.
Key responsibilités
Social Media Management & Execution
Own the day-to-day management of blackcrows’ social channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn and emerging platforms), including publishing, scheduling, and community moderation.
Execute channel-specific plans in alignment with the broader strategy defined by the Athlete & Social Media Manager.
Translate the editorial vision into structured weekly content planning and delivery.
Draft compelling social copy and write clear, social-first briefs for content production.
Content Creation & Community Engagement
Produce, shoot, and edit photo and video content across formats (reels, short-form video, stories, static posts), both on snow and off.
Capture authentic mountain moments while maintaining brand consistency and visual excellence.
Adapt campaign assets for social platforms and ensure timely, high-quality publication.
Engage daily with the global blackcrows community through thoughtful interaction and proactive moderation.
Monitor conversations around blackcrows, competitors, and ski culture, sharing relevant trends and engagement opportunities with the team.
Execute user-generated content initiatives and support creator collaborations to drive participation and visibility.
Athlete, Creator & Event Support
Coordinate with athletes and internal teams to capture and amplify social content opportunities.
Support social coverage for events, launches, and community activations (before, during, and after).
Be present on the ground during shoots, trips, and events when required.
Analytics & Reporting
Track performance metrics across platforms (reach, engagement, growth, content performance).
Prepare regular reports and highlight key insights.
Contribute optimisation ideas based on performance data.
Share organic learnings to support alignment with paid media activity.

Profile & Qualifications
minimum 3 years’ experience in social media, content creation, or community-focused roles.
Strong skier with a deep understanding of ski culture and mountain environments.
Comfortable working in dynamic outdoor conditions and travelling when required.
Hands-on experience with content production tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture One, and native platform editing tools).
Strong visual sensibility and attention to detail.
Fluent in French and English, with strong English copywriting skills.
Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Data-aware and confident using social analytics tools.
